Wildflower Seeding
Keep Fort Bend Beautiful, under the guidance of Fort Bend Green, has been researching county-owned properties throughout 2022 to plant wildflowers in areas that would be beneficial to both the public and the County Parks Department. Harlem Road Park Expansion
Fort Bend Green was approached by members of the Pecan Grove MUD who were interested in pickleball courts. Fort Bend Green assisted the group with evaluating potential locations and initiated discussions with a landowner adjacent to Harlem Road Park. Brazos River Recreation Master Plan

Jones Creek Ranch Park (Gordon Ranch)
The Jones Creek Ranch, formally known as Gordon Ranch, located in Fort Bend County on FM 359 came in to the possession of Fort Bend Green in 2012. County Judge Bob Hebert along with Fort Bend Green contacted the former properties owner, Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, about the interest in selling the property. USACK Marathon Races
Fort Bend Green was approached by The Houston Kayak & Canoe Club to facilitate bringing the 2013 USA Canoe & Kayak Marathon Team Trials to Sugar Land for the first time. Fort Bend Green worked successfully to secure the necessary partners to have Sugar Land host the event. This prestigious event serves as the assessment race to determine which athletes represent the USA in the ICF Marathon World Championships. [...]

Fort Bend Green was approached by the Cullinan Park Conservancy in June 2013 to help with the development and maintenance of the park. Brazos River Canoe Trail
The Lower Brazos Canoe Trail is a collaboration of Fort Bend and Brazoria Counties to develop a canoe trail on the Brazos as an integral part of 600+ Miles of multi-use trails and green space circling the Greater Houston Area. The entire project will ultimately link the natural beauty of the region’s wilderness with a series of preserves, parks, waterways, nature centers and trails.
