Many community members came out to participate including the Fort Bend Black Heritage Society members and students from Foster and Terry High Schools. More than 500 pounds of trash and debris was removed from the two locations and some much needed maintenance was done around the properties. Fort Bend Green is a member of the Houston ToolBank which is funded for Fort Bend County Nonprofits by The George Foundation. The Houston ToolBank provided all the necessary tools for the Fall Sweep.
